Welcome To the

Seattle Sea Otters

The Seattle Sea Otters is a local adaptive hockey program created for players of all abilities.

We offer a supportive, inclusive, and fun environment where athletes with intellectual, developmental, or physical disabilities can experience the joy of hockey on and off the ice.

Our mission is to build confidence, friendships, and a love for the game in a community that celebrates every player.

“This is what inclusion actually looks like—meeting kids with disabilities where they are and letting them set the pace. There were wheelchairs on the ice, parents pushing kids on seals around, big kids and teenagers, pucks sliding everywhere…What make me the happiest is that everyone was so happy we were there- we weren’t a burden and we began to feel like part of the community. Bodhi asked me to sign him up again!” – Rachel Grossman-Kahn, Accessibility Leader & Advocate
